Hire Charges for rooms at The Centre

Opened in November 2006, with an official opening the following Summer by HRH Duchess of Gloucester, The Centre in Newlyn is a modern accessible community centre.   The Centre has level access from the street, lift, baby change facilities and toilets to disability standard.  All rooms have access to hot drink making facilities and catering can be provided.  The building is wireless broadband enabled and a range of additional equipment can be hired including laptops, data projectors and screens.

Tolcarne Hall           Seats up to 180 people             £25 per session (up to 3 hours)

                                    Ideal for meetings, conferences and exhibitions.  Adjacent to kitchen.

 

Penlee Hall              Seats up to 140 people            £20 per session (up to 3 hours)

                                    Ideal for informal meetings.  Hot drinks servery.

 

Wheal Betsy            Seats up to 40 people                £15 per session (up to 3 hours)

                                   Carpeted.  Hot drinks servery.

 

The Orchard            Seats up to 20 people.              £10 per session (up to 3 hours)

                                    Carpeted.  Adjacent  kitchen.

 

Mounts Bay             Ideal room for one to one          £6 per session (up to 3 hours)

                                  meetings or interviews.

                                  Carpeted.  Hot drinks servery.

 

Children's Parties

 

Can be booked in the Penlee Hall at a cost of £25 for up to 3 hours.

 

DISCOUNTS FOR CHARITIES OR COMMUNITY GROUPS  - PLEASE ASK.

 

There is no additional charge for use of tea or coffee making facilities in rooms - however we do charge for use of the commercial kitchen for making meals etc.

CONFERENCE HIRE

 

Meeting room rates as per the list.

An additional charge for room set up may be levied.                                         £10

 

Coffee/tea and biscuits on arrival, or at intervals throughout the day.            60p per cup.

 

Coffee and pastries/cakes                                                                                      £1.50 per person

 

Lunches (sandwiches, fresh fruit, cakes).                                                          £5.50 per person
